"The first thing Dr. Audia did was help to get me out of pain, then he helped me to move the way I have wanted to since the moment I had my stroke. This place is incredible."

FAQs
Do you take insurance?
At Audia PT, we don’t accept insurance—and that’s a good thing. It means your care isn’t limited by insurance restrictions, but guided by your unique goals and movement needs. You’ll get the treatment you need, as often as needed, for as long as it takes. “Good enough” isn’t good enough here. We focus on high-quality movement to help you achieve lasting, pain-free, independent mobility.
What are the benefits of a clinic that does not accept insurance?
Direct-pay care puts you and your therapist in control with no insurance restrictions or third-party limitations. This model allows us to treat the whole body, from trunk control and balance to fine motor coordination and mobility, ensuring the highest quality of independent movement.
For stroke and brain injury recovery, intensive therapy is essential. While insurance-based clinics often cap care at 3 sessions per week, Audia PT offers flexible options—from 6 sessions a week at 3 hours each to occasional wellness visits.
Focusing on movement quality—not just function—is vital. Over-relying on compensation strategies may boost short-term independence but often leads to joint damage, pain, and long-term setbacks. Dr. Audia is committed to helping you achieve lasting, pain-free mobility through full-body, high-quality rehab.
What is a Neuro-IFRAH therapist?
Neuro-IFRAH therapists use specialized techniques to achieve top outcomes for stroke and brain injury recovery. Dr. Audia (an advanced Neuro-IFRAH clinician with over 18 years of experience) focuses on whole-body rehab including posture, arm, hand, and foot/ankle function for comprehensive recovery.
What types of disorders do you treat?
We treat a wide range of neurologic conditions, including stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s, MS, spinal cord injury, Guillain-Barré, and more. Our advanced orthopedic program also addresses musculoskeletal pain from back, neck, and joint issues to limb dysfunction all with a focus on full recovery and long-term prevention.
Do you work with muscle and joint pain?
We specialize in musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, with advanced training in techniques like Mulligan Mobilization, Maitland Manual Therapy, myofascial release, and joint mobilization. We've helped many people overcome back, neck, shoulder, and joint issues for restored function and lasting results.
Why should I choose a physical therapist over a chiropractor or massage therapist for pain relief?
Physical therapy offers a complete solution. A skilled physical therapist can diagnose the root cause of your issue, treat it fully, and teach you how to prevent it from returning. With expertise in joint and soft tissue mobilization, neuromuscular re-education, pain relief, exercise, and ergonomics, physical therapists address both symptoms and underlying problems.
While chiropractors focus on joint manipulation and massage therapists relieve soft tissue pain, neither provides comprehensive rehab for long-term recovery. These approaches often require ongoing treatment. Instead of managing symptoms indefinitely, choose physical therapy to resolve the issue at its source.
Can I supplement my current therapy with Audia Physical Therapy?
Yes! When increased intensity of physical therapy is desired, Audia PT can see patients on off-days from patients’ current therapists.
I am very distractible during therapy. Is there a private area for treatment?
Our clinic is set up to enable maximal attention from even the most distractible patients. Our staff and visitors understand the need for a quiet environment free of interruptions. Most of the time, treatment is performed in a completely private area to ensure the best results and total attention. Management of the treatment environment is key to attention and organize the environment according to each patient’s unique needs.
