Our approach is creative, adaptable, and built to keep you strong, confident, and independent for the long run

  • Whole-Body Approach

We care for your whole body, giving equal attention to everything from your hands and upper body to your feet and ankles. Every part of you matters, and every goal you have is our priority

What is Neuro Physical Therapy?

Movement is the foundation of everything we do, how we work, play, connect, and live. But movement isn’t just something that “happens.” It’s a complex conversation between your brain, nervous system, and body. When that conversation breaks down (whether from injury, illness, or simply years of unaddressed movement patterns) life can become harder, less confident, and more limited.

Neuro physical therapy addresses this at the source. We don’t just focus on muscles and joints, we teach you how to move again, retraining the brain and nervous system to work in harmony. This process isn’t only for those with a neurological diagnosis. It benefits anyone who wants to improve balance, prevent falls, move efficiently, and protect their body for the future.

By restoring quality of movement, we help you unlock strength, stability, and control you may not have realized you’d lost. With skilled guidance and targeted practice, you learn to move not just more, but better. Every step, reach, and turn becomes confident, safe, and purposeful.

"The first thing Dr. Audia did was help to get me out of pain, then he helped me to move the way I have wanted to since the moment I had my stroke. This place is incredible."

FAQs

Do you take insurance?

At Audia PT, we choose you over insurance, and that makes all the difference.
When we’re not bound by insurance rules, your progress isn’t capped by someone else’s checklist. Your treatment is driven by your goals, your body, and your future - not by a claim form. You’ll receive the care you need, as often as you need it, for as long as it takes. Because here, “good enough” is never good enough. We’re committed to helping you move well, live pain-free, and stay independent for life.

Most insurance-based clinics operate in a cycle of reaction, not prevention. They wait until things get bad enough to treat, then stop short when you’re “just okay.” Prevention is rarely encouraged. True recovery is rarely supported. We believe you deserve better because you deserve your full, active life back

What are the benefits of a clinic that does not accept insurance?

Direct-pay care puts the power back where it belongs, with you and your therapist. No insurance rules. No third-party red tape. Just the freedom to focus entirely on your recovery. This approach lets us treat your whole body (core strength, balance, fine motor control, and mobility) so every movement you make is strong, efficient, and truly yours.

After a stroke or brain injury, intensity matters. Recovery isn’t something you can rush or ration. Insurance-based clinics often stop short when the insurance company has deemed your recovery is completed and not when you and your therapist have determined complete recovery.

Because here’s the truth: simply regaining “function” isn’t enough. Relying on quick-fix compensations might get you moving now, but it can set you up for joint damage, pain, and setbacks down the road. At Audia PT, our mission is to give you more than short-term independence. We are here to help you rebuild movement that lasts, pain-free and powerful, for the rest of your life

What is a Neuro-IFRAH therapist?

Neuro-IFRAH therapists use specialized techniques to achieve top outcomes for stroke and brain injury recovery. Dr. Audia (an advanced Neuro-IFRAH clinician with over 18 years of experience) focuses on whole-body rehab including posture, arm, hand, and foot/ankle function for comprehensive recovery.

What types of disorders do you treat?

We treat a wide range of neurologic conditions, including stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s, MS, spinal cord injury, Guillain-Barré, vestibular disorders, and more. Our advanced orthopedic program also addresses musculoskeletal pain from back, neck, and joint issues to limb dysfunction all with a focus on full recovery and long-term prevention.

Do you work with muscle and joint pain?

We specialize in musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, with advanced training in techniques like Mulligan Mobilization, Maitland Manual Therapy, myofascial release, and joint mobilization. We've helped many people overcome back, neck, shoulder, and joint issues for restored function and lasting results.

Why should I choose a physical therapist over a chiropractor or massage therapist for pain relief?

Physical therapy is more than treatment, it’s a complete path to recovery. A skilled physical therapist doesn’t just chase symptoms; they uncover the true source of your pain, address it fully, and give you the tools to keep it from coming back. With expertise in joint and soft tissue mobilization, neuromuscular re-education, pain relief, targeted exercise, and ergonomics, we heal what’s hurting while restoring how your body moves, so you can return to life with confidence.

Chiropractic adjustments can realign joints. Massage therapy can ease muscle tension. But without comprehensive rehabilitation, relief is often temporary requiring endless appointments just to keep discomfort at bay. Physical therapy goes deeper, solving the problem at its root so you can break free from the cycle of pain and reclaim lasting strength, mobility, and independence.

Can I supplement my current therapy with Audia Physical Therapy?

Yes! When increased intensity of physical therapy is desired, Audia PT can see patients on off-days from patients’ current therapists.

I am very distractible during therapy. Is there a private area for treatment?

Our clinic is set up to enable maximal attention from even the most distractible patients. Our staff and visitors understand the need for a quiet environment free of interruptions. Most of the time, treatment is performed in a completely private area to ensure the best results and total attention. Management of the treatment environment is key to attention and organize the environment according to each patient’s unique needs.

What is the difference between Neuro Physical Therapy and General Physical Therapy?

Neuro PT involves specialized assessment and treatment techniques tailored to the unique needs of patients with neurological conditions. These techniques not typically emphasized in general PT training. A neuro therapist is trained to identify subtle deficits in motor control, postural stability, and sensory integration that may not be apparent in general PT. General physical therapy may focus on strength, ROM, and pain reduction whereas neuro PT emphasizes neuroplasticity, task-specific training, motor learning strategies, and restorative techniques.
